This artwork Ocean dreaming, is based of the place of moving water, it captures the ancient gatherings of Aboriginal people along the coast of Esperance. For generations, they moved with the tides, traveling the coastline, sharing stories, and meeting on the beaches.
 
The rhythmic patterns of the sea reflect their journeys—through rugged paths and calm waters. As they moved, kangaroos, symbolising strength and agility, also roamed the land, their tracks joining the footsteps of the people. The lines, dots, and textures in this work speak of connection between the land, the sea, and the spirits of the land.
